The mouse sometimes double clicks when I only click once.This has resulted in deleting e-mail I needed and also a folder and a list of RSS feeds. Also when I drag the cursor to highlight some text it will delete the data while I'm dragging.

That sounds like some kind of virus/trojan/worm, do you have any antivirus
software installed? If not, I'd try something like this: http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/...

If your mouse and/or keyboard are wireless, try changing the batteries.

I have McAfee that is always kept up to date. I did a full scan a couple of times and it shows no problems. I do not have a wireless keyboard or mouse. Thanks for replying though.
