ok guy I am playing around with purchasing a motherboard for my new build. The manufactures are MSI, EVGA, and GIGABYTE. Please help me which company is better for a beginner I am going to run a cor 2 quad q8400 intel proccessor and a HIS radeon IceQ4 turboX 512mb video card. Please help thanx.

the boards are
MSI P45 platinum
evga 790i SLI FTW
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P

Stick with boards based on Intel chipsets. In other words, scratch the EVGA board off your list.

thanx for the reply ok now I am down to two boards now the gigabyte ep45-ud3p or the MSI p45 PLATINUM which one is more user friendly and stable or which one is just a better board?
