Hi:
am having problems with the sound and I think instaling the mothercard drives in these new formated PC I will be able to lose the problem. But I cant find the mothercards dates i win XP. Someone know where in winXP can I find mothercards number,name and etc ?

What you are thinking of is Advanced System Information but that isn't going to give you information of the motherboard model.

Try using SIW.exe instead. Get it at the link below.

If you want to check Windows anyway GO Start> help and support> Tools> Advanced System Info.
