I have a Gigabyte motherboard here with a 466Mhz Celeron that holds a 66Mhz FSB. Well, i would like to use my Pentium 2 350Mhz CPU because it holds a 100Mhz FSB. My motherboard will only pick up my Pentium 2 CPU as a 233Mhz CPU. I have changed the onboard settings, the FSB settings, and still it will only pick up as 233mhz. My celeron CPU is a Socket 370 with a Slot 1 converter card, could this be a problem, could there be a setting for this that i need to change?

Perhaps the Gigabyte board does not support the 100 fbs..

if you know the model number or have the motherboard manual check the specs.

If it does support it there may be a jumper setting on the board that you have to change but it sounds like an older board.

The board holds a 100FSB and will hold upto a Pentium 3 600Mhz CPU. I have changed every setting on the board possibale, and still nothing is happening.
