My PC was running fine until a day ago (when i moved the motherboard to another machine and back). I connected everything up, but now all I get is a blank screen, the drives power up as normal, but there is no beep at all. Some people tell me RAM, but others tell me that if it was RAM I would receive at least a few beeps. Any suggestions?

If it's ram or video, you would get a beep code. Unless you connected the internal speaker the wrong way.

You say "blank screen" - does anything appear or do you mean the dreaded blue screen? Do the power on/drive LED's come up?

I have almost the same problem with two computers im working on. But i never swaped the mother board. I dont think its the RAM because you should still get the POST test and fail on the RAM. Im thinking BIOS,bad power supply, posable bad periferal or somthing on the mainboard.

No beeps and no post usually indicates a problem with the CPU. Try reseating it.
