motherboard with AGP 8x?

Hi, I am thinking of building a computer. I want to put in one of thoose new video card, Ati 9700 pro or when the new Nividia FX card comes out. I was noticing that they all say AGP 8x interface, and I cant find a motherboard with that kind of interface. Any suggestiobs?-Also will put in a p4 3ghz processor.

go to googlegear.com, i recommend the Soyo P4x400 Dragon Ultra Socket 478 Motherboard. though im not sure if it goes up to 3ghz yet, maybe when they have a new bios.

well right now recent motherboards all have agp 8x compatibility.
and if you want to get 3ghz processor, get intel motherboard. they run good or get soyo, asus boards.

From what I have seen all motherboards that have AGP 8x dont have the ability to take full advantage of the HT technology in the p4 3ghz cpu. I believe I heard that these new video cards with a AGP 8x interface can still run in a AGP 4x slot, is this true? Is the graphic card impacted by this that much? I only ask because if im gonna spend all this money, I want the most I can get from each of the components. thanks.
