This June review was one of the main reasons I bought the Asus P4P800 Deluxe. I've had it for several months now and still like it a lot. There are other boards out there that are a little faster like the Abit IS7 and the IC7 but I liked all the features on the P4P and the P4C800 Deluxe. So my vote goes for the P4P800 although the Deluxe has many more features for a few extra bucks.

If you want stability and speed get the Intel 865PERL.... Intel boards are the best out there. The only thing is that you usually cannot overclock an INTEL board, but if you have a good graphics card and lots of memory why would you want too ? Overclocking is dangerous and yeilds little results so I say go INTEL I have the 865 PREL and it's amazing.... Not even one tiny glitch. Im very happy with it and I have the P4 2.6 with only 533 FBS your 800 will be much better, i read an article that raved about the 865PERL in a P4 800Fsb machine.

Summary: That would be pretty much correct. If you've seen as many of them as I have, you'd agree. Just a few, and I don't remember the model numbers. One machine, a vertical tower, PII about a 333, had a HU...
