I recently noticed some strange noises coming from my motherboard. It's a bit like a low screech or more like a low squeak or even a similar sound to a rattle snake.
I notice it does it when applications, games and webpages load. Then it stops when everything stays still.
Sometimes, if there is an image that fades in/out, it will do quick repetitive similar sounds until the image's fade ends.

Is my motherboard starting to take rust? Does it need to be lubrificated? Are reptiles starting the invasion? I wouldn't know until I hear your views.

Your motherboard itself will not make noises, so it must be one of the devices in the PC - hard drive chatter, a cooling fan, etc. As a more remote possibility, you may have picked up a virus that is playing games with your case speaker, but that isn't as likely (you are running antivirus software anyway, right?).
