I need to reset the bois on my m/b, I can't get the system to start, not even post, there are jumpers close and I have already tried shorting them but no luck.
How do I find M/B info for a P2B-VT M/B

One of the only references I could find. it is not listed on Asus's website even though they manufactured the board.
I hope this helps you :-)

Mobo p28-vt by Asus Maxcell BAT Award pci/pnp 686
This is what I,ve done so far.

Got a HP 8565c system (Me) at my place. It needed a new H/D (the old one will not spin up anymore) just gave the old disk failure error. so I put a new Western Digital 40gig, run the floppy that came with it (partition, format) then figured .... hey I'll run the recovery disks that came with the system. I the CD goes, auto runs itself, I get an fat 16 error, or something like that (didn't pay much atention to it, figured I would have to install Win first). Shut the system down, went to start it ......... now it will not even make it to the POST, no display monitor does not seem to pick up from the system. Tryed new vid card .. same tryed reseting the BIOS, pulled every card out, tred a new power supply, different H/D, floppy, pulled the CD roms out!
What could it be!!?

have you tried taking everything (including ram)out except the CPU? if not try that and if it doesn't beep then it's one of three things, most likely it's not the PS, the cpu could be fried or the mobo (bios)
