You couldn't just put, P4 3.0GHz/800MHz FSB, 4GB DDR2-533, Radeon X300SE 128MB? A CPU upgrade probably isn't worthwhile & you're already maxed out on the RAM. You didn't state what the system is primarily used for so I have no advice about the video card. The X300SE's not a gaming card but if you're not a gamer, it should be adequate.
