Hi I found a monitor on the street that someone put out and not sure if it is working. It is a Dell Gateway fpd 1500. When plugged in by itself in Nvidia card it shows something faint when I boot up. The Nvidia card has two connections and the other one is what I usually use for my other flatscreen monitor. The Dell is a dvi connection and the Acer I have has a vga connection. I tried the push buttons on the monitor to increase the resolution but there is no reaction. I have tried to find the manual for this monitor but so far no luck. A friend I rang says it is no good. It was wet when I collected it and I had it outside to dry but it is not sunny enough. I dunno I think it is dry anyway but there is no definate way i guess to tell unless i get it open. I have been trying to find a service manual. Any ideas on what I should do?
