I'm trying to diagnose what it wrong with this machine, I turn it on, the fan runs, the keyboard lights "blink" initially as I turn it on. But the keyboard is then unresponsive- I cannot get the caps lock light to go on (and I've tried known working keyboards), and as well the monitor stays in diagnostic mode- saying "your monitor is working correctly" etc, I can't get it to go on. When I power the machine on- the process light does not blink even once nor do I hear any processing going on.

Monitor and keyboard are fine, as I've tested them on different machines. Monitor is connected via AGP slot, keyboard via PS/2 port.
Any ideas as to the issue here?
