Monitor won't come out of standby on new pc

I just assembled a new pc, however the monitor won't come out of standby when i start it,
the pc seems to boot up and as far as i can se everything in the box seems to start up and work, but the monitor is still in standby.

ive tried:
taking out the ram (tried with one brick)
replacing the motherboard
replacing the graphic card
replacing the monitor
reasembled it several times

System:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3,33ghz socet 775 6mb 1333mhz.

ASUS P5Q-E, P45, Socket-775, DDR2, ATX, 2xGbLAN, Firewire, 3xPCI-Ex(2.0)16

XFX GeForce GTX 275 640m 896mb physx pci-express 2.0 2xDVI, HDCP, graphics plus, 640/2268MHz

2x - Kingston ValueR. DDR2 PC6400 1GB CL5 1.8V, 128Meg x 72,240pin, ECC/REG


CORSAIR Powersupply 750W Black, ATX/EPS, 140mm Fan, 8xSATA, SLI.

SAMSUNG 500GB SATA 3G DESKTOP STORAGE 7200 RPM 16MB CACHE BARE DRIVE

SAMSUNG 22" WIDE T220 LCD Monitor

Is the monitor connected to the DVI port ? If yes, you might try turning the monitor off and then back on after you boot up. Another obvious thing to try is another monitor if you have access to one, or you could connect to the VGA port if possible.

If you didn't benchtest your components before installing them in the case, all bets are off.

alredy tried changing out the monitor and tried bouth DVI and VGA port with the same result.
we have pretty much comfirmed that the motherboard and graphic card are working. and unless both my new ram bricks are malfunctioning it cant see that that's the problem either. :(
