Monitor unplug then plug in again

Specs: Windows 7
My monitor does not work unless I unplug the AC power then plug it back in again, I have tried it in two locations with two different computers running windows XP and windows 7. Would the problem be the caps in the monitor going bad?

I had this problem with an LCD moniter where it would just turn off and I had to unplug and plug back in.

Your going to need to just buy another one unless you have the training and knowledge to fix it.

Doesn't work as in no power on doesn't work as in wrong settings.

If you have a CRT then it is time to consider an lcd. It would save energy.

you can take it to them and I'm sure they could defiantly tell you whether or not it is fixable.
