when i do a warm reboot and when i go pass the winxp splash screen and before i get to load windows my monitor shuts down for 1 or 2 seconds and my windows takes forever to load up....and i scanned for viruses and don't have any...
now after it loads up windows i shutdown for 2 minutes and turn system back on and it loads up everything just fine....
what could be causing that??
i have my windows updated and all my drivers updated...

is there a log file to look at to see what the process its going thru till it reaches that part it shuts off??
thanks alot....

there is a free proggy called bootvis available here...

http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/12/2/12-2-1.shtml

it will highlight any driver loading delays etc and help you to tweak as necessary.

hope this is of help.
