Monitor saying no signal when connected

January 7, 2015 at 18:00:25
Specs: Windows 7, 12gb ram
recently I had gotten my computer restored back to when I first had bought it. Before taking it In to a professional, the PC worked with my monitor.

a few years ago I had the same problem, but fixed it somehow, unknowingly. I'm using an acer 24 inch, but I don't know the resoulution.

This may or may not apply.

Press the keyboard Suspend button. You may need to press the Suspend button on the keyboard twice (the suspend button has an icon that looks like a quarter moon).

Does anything at all show on the monitor when you first turn on the computer?

You mentioned taking it to a professional. Was this a problem you were having before taking it there or when you got it back?

If there's nothing displayed on the monitor & you're sure the monitor is good, the problem is with the computer. "No signal" means there's no video signal being sent. Is it a desktop or laptop? What is the make/model?
