Comment:

When I boot up my system the monitor works fine but after a few minutes the red tones don't work and everything is in either yellow, blue or black. I changed out the montior with one that works fine on another computer but it does the same thing. Is this a video card problem?

Could be a card problem, but could also be a cable. Check for loose connections. Clean out the inside of the machine and if your card has a fan, clean it also. Could be a vid card overheat.
