I just baught a Proview ps920f monitor it is a 19" (18" viewable) flat screen monitor. It is a 75Hz monitor. It is running at:
H: 85.4KHz
V: 84.5 Hz
(from the menue on the monitor itself)
The box says it is a 75Hz monitor.

Here is the problem:
There are wavey lines accross the monitor, similar to what you would get if you put a magnet up to the screen. I am wondering if the OS (winme) has choosen the wrong speed for the monitor? I don't know how to check that. But I know if that is incorrenct it can cause problems. I have set the monitor up a couple different ways. One way is to have the driver in windows properties set at "plug and play monitor" and the other is to have the drivers from proview.net for their pure flat screen monitors. nothing has changed the lines. This is the second monitor I have had. I thought the first one was bad, but you rarely get two bad products in a row. And this one is doing the same thing the other one did.
The wavey patterns look like seperated pixels in a wavey patern accross the screen.
Any info would be very much appreciated.
