Monitor Out of Range - even in VGA mode
I installed Star Wars: The Old Republic and when it started my monitor went blank and I got and 'Out of Range' message. So I restarted my PC but the message still came up.

I can open in safe mode and have uninstalled the game but can't change the resolution back!

Have tried VGA mode to change resolution but the same message comes up when vista loads up. Please help!

Have also reinstalled video drivers and that didn't work either

Did you uninstall the video driver first before reinstalling the video driver?

Have you tried changing monitor refresh rate to 60Hz in safe mode?

If both solutions don't works, use RefreshLock. set the Refresh Overriding on, set frequency to 60Hz, and choose Screen Mode to your monitor native resolution. Set the advanced settings so it will automatically run on start-up. Save.

Thanks for the response. I finally managed to fix this by using remote mouse on my iPhone and changing the refresh rate back to 60hz - I couldn't do this in safe mode for some reason.
So glad I eventually remembered I had the remote on my phone.
