Solved Monitor not working with my cables

Specs: Windows 7, Intel i5-3570k/8gb
I have recently bought a few monitors for my computer setup, knowing that I have 2 spots on my graphics cards (DVI-I and DVI-D). For my main monitor, I bought a DVI-I to VGA converter and used a VGA cable and it worked fine. Then I tried a similar thing with the other, using a DVI-D to VGA converter and then using a VGA cable but this did not work. I know that the monitor works as it has been tested before. Any solutions?

DVI-I carries both analog & digital signals. DVI-D is digital only. Since VGA is analog only, you can not use DVI-D to VGA.
