Monitor menu keeps appearing

I've since noted one related post back in 2008 but the answers to that post haven't helped me.

Is this the monitor hardware menu usually accessed by control buttons on the monitor itself ? Or is it the screen settings menu accessed by rightclick on desktop/properties/settings
If it is the monitor hardware settings menu then I would suspect a faulty button or circuit on the monitor

Thanks for the reply.
It's a problem with the monitor menu itself. I don't touch the buttons on the monitor but the menu continually pops up and some of the functions will change: width, contrast, vertical centering etc. I reckon I'll have to ditch the monitor and this is my last chance to get some help for it.

If it's a CRT then ditch it. They're not worth the price of repair. Even LCDs have come down so much in price that repair isn't economically viable.
