dell s199wfp flat panel monitor is stuck in power save mode. I have windows vista and my computer is a little over a year old. My computer turns on fine it just tells me that the my monitor is in powersave mode and to hit a key or move the mouse. Nothing happens when I do this. Please help.
It seems that your monitor's not receiving a signal from the video card. The monitor isn't the problem, there's something wrong with your computer. When you start it, do you get the single POST beep indicating all is well? If not, you have some troubleshooting to do...could be the CPU, could be the motherboard, could be power supply.
