Subject: Monitor has No signal input OS: XP CPU/Ram: Compaq /256

Comment: I just moved my computer to a different place and now I have no signal input to my monitor. Monitor is OK ( I tested with other computer)and also I connected other monitors. Nothing. Connections are rigth and tight. What can I do? I'm in the dark. giar

Reply: (edit)hmm, maybe the video card has moved in it's slot, try to push it back, that is in case your computer POST's , u didn't give such details... It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

Reply: (edit)Computer POST's? What you mean? Anyway, I appreciate your effort. Yes, I reseated the card couple times. I even resettled the BIOS (By unplugging the battery, I didn’t see any jumpers) and nothing. I’m afraid this computer is just done. Any other suggestions? giar

Reply: (edit)Does the computer boot up? can u hear/c the fans rotating? do the front panel power & hdd leds power up? does it beep at boot up? Have u tried a diffrent video card? It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...
