Ok I have a Mag Innovision LCD Monitor. Problem is after it's been on for a while the screen will just go black. The power light stays green. If I turn the power off then back on the monitor screen comes back on. Also if it happens to be switching graphics modes when the problem occurs it automatically comes back on.
I know for certain it is not a software or driver issue. I have also tried the monitor on different computers. The longer the monitor is on, the more frequent;y the screen will go black. I dont have much money and its such a great monitor I'm looking for help on how to fix it and what the problem is. Obviously something inside it going bad? Anyone with heavy monitor knowledge please help me. Thank you.

The indications are of a backlight or 'inverter' problem. If you can see a very faint image when you look close at the black screen, that means the backlight isn't working.

If you are pretty handy, you might want to do a Google search for 'backlight fix'.
