Hi, someone help me fix the colors of the monitor. The monitor is CTX color monitor connected to a dell 2000XP CPU. The monitor had its original colors previously, but now i connected a 98'(os) cpu to this monitor and switched the cpu to 2000xp cpu, the color configuration has changed. I see black for red and gray for green and i can't change the colors through the color management option in settings.

go to your device manager and check if ur montior is identified by ur os. and try reinstall the driver for ur video card and montior.

If possible try your monitor on another system and vice versa. If it's the monitor then it's possible colour settings might have been fiddled with in it's On Screen Menu. If it can't be fixed by resetting then I guess one of the electron guns in tube (red) has mailfunctioned and you're talking about the price of a new monitor to repair it. A hardware fault on your graphics card cauld also be the cause - A friends Geforce 2 mx stopped displaying a colour once and had to be replaced. Possible cause of this might have been plugging in the monitor cable while either unit was powered up If reinstalling your graphics card and monitor driver don't help then it's time to dig out the warranty I'm afraid.
