monitor 'burn in mode'?

hi

have just set up a pc that's been lying around for a month or so. when i start up, i get a small blue box in the middle of the screen with 'burn in mode' written there.....cant get rid of this to boot up??

any ideas???

did you try going into the monitor menu
thru the control panel on the monitor
and look around thouroughly
it might be in a sub menu item

Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny
