Whenever I maximize or switch windows, my screen blurs momnetarily before returning to normal. Maybe I've just never noticed this before, but it doesn't seem normal to me.
Any ideas?
I'm using an NEC MultiSync 97F at 75HZ. I recently reset the settings to factory defaults in order to troubleshoot some geometric issues, but I can't see how that is more than a coincidence and how it could have caused this blur.

Usually the screen is blanked while changing resolution. It sounds like that isn't happening. But I wouldn't worry about it.

That's just it, though, I'm not changing anything. It happens whenever I open a new window, switch windows, minimize/maximize etc., anything like that.
