I Just bought a Vizio va2226w monitor. I bought new adapters to go along with it. When I start the computer it beeps three or four times and the monitor displays 'No Signal'. It worked for a few days but then right back to beeping and no signal.

Is it plugged into a video card on the computer or onto the video port that is part of the motherboard (onboard video)?

If a video card it is possible that the card is no longer into its motherboard slot properly (could have been jarred out of whack when you connected cable to monitor or moved the PC or something).

If it is a video card, shut down PC and unplug it. Then open the case and remove the video card (you may have to unplug cable to monitor) and then replace it back into its slot). Close case and re-attach monitor cable. Plug in and power up.

Monitors don't beep, motherboards beep. And that beeping is an error code. The number of beeps, mix of short/long beeps & pauses in between indicates a specific problem. We can't help unless you post the exact beep code. It is 3 or 4 beeps? Are they short or long beeps? Are they in rapid succession or are there pauses in between?

"I bought new adapters to go along with it"

What does that mean, "adapters"? What are you adapting to/from? Did you lower your screen resolution settings before connecting the new monitor?

One long beep followed by three short beeps, then a pause followed by two short beeps.
