Monitor suitable for gaming. 19" but with smallest possible footprint. I'd like to get one that comes in black. Also DVD burner recommendation.

Any CRT monitor does not have a small footprint, the only small footie would be an LCD. While I use an LCD at work, and occasionally run a small video on it which seems to run fine, I have read that LCDs do not have good response time with games, but having never used one for this I really don't know. Best price out there now, 19" Samsung. I bought two and they are great. The SyncMaster 950B /.22 Dot Pitch (!) Free Shipping! $200
