Hi, so im just playing around with an old CPU mobo and stuff, and the thing is the mother board powers up and everything is fine but i dont get a display, i'm thinking because of the old CPU this may mean that the CPU is bad? i know it's not the graphics because the graphics card was tested on another machine. theres no beep error either, which is strange

Test without any ram. If there are no beeps then it is likely either the CPU or motherboard is shot. The motherboard does have a peizo speaker to give you the beeps with?
