Problem-Random restarts.
Facts: Windows 2000 Pro, Via P4xb-s with Award Bios, 3 Dimms of 1GB DDR supported. I have 3 256s in there now. If I remove one of the Sticks the restarts go away. It doesn't matter which one. If the first two Dimms are full I'm ok, as soon as I plug into the third dimm and do anything RAM itensive I get a restart. Changed settings to not auto restart on problem, now I get STOP: errors, Varying numbers. Researching these stop errors I find one thing in common, possible bad RAM. But it doesnt matter which two sticks I'm running!!!!!! Help!!! Please

so, it sounds like the problem is with the number three DIMM slot? Is your MoBo under any warranty? I would look at the possibility of that slot being no good. Try to exercise your MoBo warranty.

That's the only thing I can come up with but MoBo is out of Warranty, So just trying to confirm. Also, in my bios it asks if this is an OS/2 operating system with more than 64Mb of RAM. Unfortunately I don't know what OS/2 is.
