mobo blew 2 monitors????

put in a new ECS k8m800 into moms computer and the next thing you know her monitor will not work ,, so i brought it home and put it on my $900 monitor and now it will not work ,so i put my 15inch screen back on a known good computer and here i am ,,and yes i tried to hook my monitor back up to my coumputer and still nothing ,,so did it really blow 2 monitors?? please help 17 inch dell nogood 26inch ilo no good

Either way too much power is going to the monitor or there is a direct short.
Did the monitors blow as soon as you tried to boot the machine or did you see the POST?
Is everything grounded properly?
Have you rechecked the connections to the mobo?
Could a screw or something have fallen in the box while you did the work?
After the monitors blew, did you notice if the green light next to the monitor power switch was still on or not?

no nothing in the box,and i can only gess on everything being grounded i would gess so , i put every screw back in,,,, and no on the green light,
funny thing is i rehooked the 19 inc back up and it worked so then tryed the big screen and then it worked , going to put here comp back to gether and see if it willl blow the 15
