G'Day All

I have just bought a Epox EP-8K3A+ mothboard off ebay and am yet to get it posted to me but wanted to know if my GForce2 MX400 64Meg graphics card will be supported in the board.
All i can find is that the board accepts 1.5V and 3.3V and i looked on the back of my graphics card and it seems to have 3.2V
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

Hi

As a side note, you should check before you buy.

3.2 and 3.3 pretty close. I'd say so. I haven't visited the site of that Motherboard to confirm one way or the other.

It sounds like a great board -- quick web reviews..

If you already have the AGP card, try it in the motherboard when you get it.

Hi Again

I had a look at a review on my graphics card and it says:

http://www.techspot.com/reviews/hardware/siluro_mx400/index.shtml

"AGP 2X /4X Support"

Then found a review on my motherboard (Epox 8K3A+) which says it supports:

http://www.3dvelocity.com/reviews/8k3a/8k3a.htm

"AGP supports 1x, 2x (3.3v) and 4x (1.5v) modes"

So as i newcomer to computers im guessing the 2x/4x will make my card ok to use in the board?

Thanks in Advance

Chris
