Okies i dunno if i should post this here but i am like upto my neck with this problem its Irda and Mobile phone related i have a Samsung e600 fone and an Mobile Action sa 660 Irda usb adaptor and im using windows xp the problem is it wont connect with my computer i installed easy gprs the software with my fone and it wont work in its settings it shows com1,com2,com3 and no option for IrDA one other thing this fone works fine if i connect it with a cable that came with a Samsung D 410 fone but the thing is i dont have that data cable i only lended it after some research i found out i need a virtual comm port for the irda to work i installed this software called ircomm2k wich made a virtual comm port and used com4 for it now even easy gprs was picking a com4 port easy gprs said restart the programme so i did now every time i start it the easy gprs sofware just halts it does nothing
now if im doing all of this wrong someone please tell me how to correct it and get my fone working with my computer and yes the Irda adaptor is working coz i connected a PDA with it and it worked flawlesly

I assume that the infrared adapter is external. What make is it?
Go to the manufacturers website and try to install a driver for it.
