ok well i was fixing up a comp and all went grand added the new hardware etc.. modem + new hard drive (lba)
anyway when i install windows for the comp lol it wont boot up windows when it restarts,
during the install process
it comes to the boot process after all the bios s--- comes up like
irq settings etc. (hdd irq 14)
and then it saying
"updating ecds" or somethin to that extent and stops...

Try removing all the stuff you put in. Then if it can boot, put in the hardswares 1 by 1. Then find out which is the one which causes all these problems.
