I'm supposed to have 512 MB of RAM yet only 448 MB appears. I believe the rest of my RAM may be in my 64 MB video card but I don't know how to get it back. Does anyone know how I can get my 64 MB back?

You can't, it's being "shared" with your on-board video card, the only way to get it back is to buy an AGP video card.
I don't suffer from insanity, I embrace it.
