Comment:

Hi, I was recently given a Compaq 1520 LCD monitor, but without any cables, and I am now having trouble in finding the correct power cable to connect the monitor to a power socket.

Essentially, the power socket to the monitor is circular, and has 4 holes all circular inside, which form a near square shape together. I cannot find this cable anywhere online - Currys suggested that it was a Compaq's own make, but again I am still having a lot of problems.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You need a "power adapter" not a "power cable"
