I was copying all the files(65gb) from my 120gb wD USB/Firewire/combo drive(no partitions) to another pc. During the process an error can up that said it couldn't copy a paticular file. It was only a 1/4 way through the process. I hit cancel to abort process and went into explorer to delete that file. When explorer opened I noticed that 80% percent of may files were missing! I checked the properties for the drive and it still showed that 65gb was being used. Are my files gone? Are they there and can I save them? Or am I urinating in the wind? Need help!

First, if the files are really important to you. STOP... DO NOTHING... The more you play with it the more damage you may do. Give it to an expert.
If the files are not that important and you want to play with it yourself, then try:
Perform a scandisk on the USB drive. Also, scan for viruses before copying.
You may have to use a file recovery program.

was you coping the files OR was you moveing the files to the other comp ? it looks like you was moveing them. You may have to copy them back to the usb drive, after you verify what is left on the usb drive plus what was transfered is about 65g . Heed Paul's post if data is important.
