You'd need a USB to parallel adapter, something like this:

Then you'd have to try it and see if the drivers will recognize the plotter through the USB port. If not you'd need to add a parallel port card to your computer or get an older PC with an existing parallel port.

Is this parallel or R-232. You mention both and your title is at odds with what is in the body.

Either way, that chances of getting a parallel/RS-232 plotter working on a modern computer are extremely thin. Your best bet is an old computer with the necessary ports.

I didn't even notice that. I believe that is a serial plotter. But there are USB adapter for that too.

Or get an add in card that has the correct ports on it. Both types are readily available.

Drivers for the device may be harder to find.

List the full brand and model of the plotter.
