Solved Might have a worm on my flash drive

Specs: Windows XP

In Biology class, we had to make a slideshow on a computer. When my group was finished the slideshow, I plugged my flash drive in to my teachers computer and dragged the file to her class project folder. Well today I found out that there was a worm on her computer during 2nd period (I have 4th). What are the chances of my flash drive having this worm? If i do have it, how can I get the worm off of my flash drive with out damaging my computer?

Usual anti-virus software will take care the worm for u. Just make sure u have the latest definition.
If u don't have one or if u have a bad one get MS security essentials or Avast free edition.

When you plug in the drive, your computer will ask you what you want to do. Normally, you probably just open the 'folder' to view your files. This time, just close the window, go to Computer, right click on the icon for the drive, and chose 'Scan With...(your antivirus program)'. If you have Malwarebytes installed (or choose to install it), you can repeat this process with Malwarebytes as well.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
