What is Microsoft 2007?

Realtek audio manager requires you to select which ports you have your speakers connected to and also what type the speaker setup you have.

After opening the Manager select the type of speaker system. Stereo, Quadraphonic, 5.1, 7.1, etc.

Then unplug any speaker cables and reconnect. That post will flash. You need to select what you are using the port for. If you have powered stereo speakers with a sub woofer that the speakers connect to the sub then just choose line out.

Also verify the Windows speaker icon doesn't have something set as muted.
