Sorry for off-topic, but I just couldn't find, where to post it here. :(

I have a problem with Micro SD card. It is working for my phone, it is working, when I use the Bluetooth to send or recieve an information from PC to mobile phone and so on, but it don't work, if I try to put it in the card reader, built in my HP notebook. I have tried it with another Micro SD card, and it worked, but not with my card.

1. When I put my card into the card slot, there should be an automatic device install (similar to the new USB flash reader), but it doesn't happen.
2. I can see on My Computer a new disc drive (Micro SD), but it works very, very, VERY slow. After the right click with mouse to that drive, I have to wait about a minute, to see all the possible options.
3. I can't run "automatic play", i can't explore this drive through My Computer, i can use an option "open the disc drive as a portable device", but it shows me that card is empty, even if on the phone it shows 5 songs and some pictures.
4. When I try to explore this device, windows tells me that it is impossible to do without a formatation and offers me to format device (on the phone the card was formated twice - both times succesfully). I try to format it, but then i have a message that format of the device can not be complete.

Please, give me your suggestions. I bought that card for my wife, because she wanted to listen some music on the phone, and that's why I want to make it possible - to copy music, video and photos from PC to the card as fast, as it can be.

You are posting in an appropriate forum. I THINK your problem is the format used in your phone is not being recognised by your PC. I believe different phone makers may use different file systems. This can be an issue with some brands of digital cameras too.

You could try using a codec pack but I think your solution is to use blue tooth or a compatible cable to copy the tunes to the phone. You may also need to use software designed for just that purpose.

Check the phone manual for more info.

I may be totally wrong here, but I did run into this myself. I tried formatting an SD card using FAT and it would no longer work in the phone.
