i googled my model version of my moniter to see how much its work right now( 100 dollars) and i found in a description that says it has a built in mic! (4 years i have not noticed it on the top) Ive tried to use the mic in Counterstrike but it has not worked. When i go into the options pannel in cs, theres a "test mic thingy" and when i speaking into the mic, i receive feedback but when i try it in game, it does not work. Also in that option thingy, i also can speak into my speakers. That works too? sorry if this is confusing. my english is not good

This sounds more like an issue with Counter-Strike than your microphone.
First go into Windows start menu, then hit Programs>Accessories>Entertainment> Sound Recorder
Try your microphone there just to make sure it works. (I don't see why it shouldn't, just want to make sure)If the microphone does work, I'll bet the problem is that you didn't bind a key to talk in Counter-Strike. You have to set a key that you hold down when you want to talk. You can find it in the controls area of the game.
Another possibility is that the volume is just too low. Do you normally have to turn your speakers up loud so you can hear? Maybe you hear your own voice fine but it's too quiet for the other players.
Ask them if they can hear anything at all, or if it's just faint. If they can hear a little bit, try boosting the Output settings in the Counter-Strike menus.Hope this helped!
