You may have "Parity Checking" enable in the hardware through BIOS Setup, when in fact you have non-parity memory. Non-parity 64 bit memory DIMM normally have 8/16 chips per DIMM. While parity 68bit memory DIMM have 9/18 chips per DIMM.
You can not mix parity and nonparity memory and still enable parity checking.
Then again, some systems use parity checking and it is just telling you the first memory DIMM is bad.
Summary: I have a dealers logo that comes up at boot up.The problem however is getting to the BIOS. I have tried hitting [del] repeatedly whilst booting up but the dealers logo is persistent and I cannot enter...
