Reply: (edit)You must use the `make boot CD' option. I don't have Nero installed at the moment so I can't give you explicit directions. Look through the options in the tool bar.

Reply: (edit)1) Download memtest ISO from memtest.org 2) Burn the ISO (no additional boot options in Nero, just burn it). 3) Set CD-ROM in BIOS to first in boot order. 4) Reboot (and wait a minute). I have followed these instructions and booted from CD-ROM using Nero 5.5.

Reply: (edit)Hi Yeah I think what you are doing is copyiny the file as "just" a file written as data to disk. Haven't used Nero in a bit either but this should help - a very rough guide. Nero should prompt you in the wizard, copy cd /create cd choose create - then it should prompt you with different formats. Its not the data or music format - I think the option is "mixed" or "other" format. Then you should come to a screen where somewhere there is - burn an iso image. Select. Then you browse till an iso is located. If you are still having difficulties, I'll do a more detailled run through. [Burnt Memtest with 5.5.9.13 Nero a while back]
