MemTest 86

Installed a gig of corsair ram in my athlon 2400+ system....been playing BF2, CoD2, CS:Source just fine for 1-2 months now. Decided to load memtest onto a floppy and run overnight. I woke up the next morning to see '2 errors'. Should I worry much about this? because the system runs stable, nonetheless. Should I go through the process of RMA'ing the ram....and possibly getting bad ram again but maybe 0-error ram? Thanks

You have the complete opposite problem to me - my system has a bad case of random BSODs, which i've been told are memory errors. However, on running MEMTEST for hours, I get no errors whatsoever.
My advice would be to see how it goes - like you said, by replacing the memory you could end up replacing it with bad RAM. Only when you start to get problems would I start to do something. Just my opinion anyway.

If memtest shows errors, get the RAM replaced. Otherwise you will run into intermittent problems.

Should I go through the manufacturer (corsair) or through newegg (store bought from). I am thinking if I go through corsair they can test the sticks before they ship them.

Although SiSoft Sandra reported CAS at 2.5, I changed it in BIOS from 'Auto' to '2.5T' and gone through 8 passes in memtest 86 and 0 errors. think im ok?
