CPU/Ram: 2 GHz / 1GB Ram DDR 2100

Hi,
Ive Been Having Problems on my current laptop which keeps coming up the error messages on start up.

P4 2GHz /1.20GHz
Nvidia GeForce4Go
Video Memory 64mb
Priamry HDD 30GB
2 x 512 DDR RAM kingston 2100

i have just currently upgraded the ram from 256 DDR to the current 512x2 ram now.

This is the Error Msg that comes up during boot:

Memory write/read failure at 3FFF0004, read FF00FF10 expecting FF10FF10
Memory address line failure at 3FFF0000, read FF10FF10 expecting 00000000
The amount of system memory has changed.
Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run the setup utility

Press F2 to enter setup, then simply exit setup without changing any settings, and you should be good to go.

i found out it was the ram.

i thought it could handle 1gb :(
