bought a GIGABYTE GA-7VA motherboard which supports pc3200 DDR 400 but on the site it recommends using one of these

Memory from crucial will be fine. These are merely the RECOMENDED manugacturers of memory.
The main thing is, make sure you match up your speed right with your board.
I've gotten all different kinds of memory from different companies, and have yet to actually see what my mobo manufacturer recomends =)
