I have just bought this mobo GA-7VAXP and on the gigabite site there is a support list for memory as follows

my question is does this really matter as i have looked on crucial.com but cant find that numbers although they do have that memory..

most likley it doesnt matter, supported just means that its been tested w/ and they know it'll work, if you buy another brand of RAM and call them w/ a problem they may blame it on the RAM if its unsupported.
