Ok, I posted earlier in the Windows 2000 forum thinking it was most likely a software problem (My PC was randomly restarting, should've known better.) - Anyways, I went through all the diagnostics procedures (The PC is brand new, built with new parts.) Ok, so I first updated my drivers, and then I replaced the power cord and tried different PSU's, nothing, still restarted, I then ran Memtest86+ (I have 2 sticks of memory, 1 512MB PQI, and one 256MB PQI, both PC3200) so I took one out and tested them individually, they both fail at the same exact points and same addresses, does it mean that the memory is incompatible? I've tested a cheap stick of 256MB (Nanya brand?) that I had laying around and it passes with flying colors, could it be that both sticks of memory are bad? (Probably highly unlikely, especially since they fail at the same points during the test?) is it possible the memory is incompatible? Is there anyway I can resolve this without RMA'ing or buying new RAM?

Visit www.crucial.com and look for your motherboard model number. They will tell you exactly what ram will work in your system. There is more to RAM than just the PC3200 rating. Timing and CAS Latency are also a factor so if the ram you purchased is not of the required specification then you could have an incompatibility issue. Your motherboard manual should also contain info on this.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Actually, I done a BIOS upgrade (The file version says that it adds support for Kingston and MOSEL 512MB sticks.) and now my 512MB stick works fine (Tested it with DocMem and Memtest86+, no failures like last time.) - Thanks for the help.
